Coastal fog can bring more than a nice view — it can also act as a vector for microbes. That’s according to a recent report published in the journal Science of the Total Environment.
Eli Dueker is an author of the report and Director of the Center for the Study of Land, Air, and Water at Bard College. He spoke with WAMC’s Southern Adirondack Bureau Chief Lucas Willard about how coastal fog can carry microbial life between land and sea.
