Local researchers, Kathleen Weathers of the Cary Institute and CESH’s own Eli Dueker, study the mysteries of fog. They are working on growing the scant historical data about the fog of the Hudson Valley.

They have found that fog can contain things like nutrients, pollutants, and microbes, reaffirming that every element of our ecosystems are connected.

To quote Dr. Dueker, “The question of what’s in our fog is absolutely a question of what’s in our water, what’s in our air, what’s in our land.”
