Just a few short weeks after releasing the preliminary findings of four years of data collected from the Andy Murphy Neighborhood Center in Kingston, on July 23rd, CESH extended its Purple Air and Weather Station Network in Orange County on a roof at Mount Saint Mary College. This 141-year-old campus is nestled in Newburgh on the West Bank of the Hudson and has beautiful mountain views. As a health-focused college “striving to become the most community-oriented college in the nation,” Mount Saint Mary’s is an ideal candidate to partner with to learn about the status and ways to improve air quality in Newburgh!
