RED HOOK, N.Y. – The Town Board has been given a report that encourages adoption of stormwater runoff rules intended to keep the 26.2-square-mile Saw Kill Creek watershed healthy.

Recommendations on how to reduce the amount of contaminants that gets into drinking water systems were reviewed during a meeting Wednesday, when officials were provided information from the group Saw Kill Watershed Community.
